Giving via the Transnational Giving Europe Network

CEU is eligible to receive tax-efficient cross-border donations through the Transnational Giving Europe (TGE) network, a network of prominent grantmaking foundations across Europe that allows for secure and tax-efficient cross-border giving by individual and corporate donors across the continent.

CEU supporters in Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom may now make tax-efficient contributions to CEU through the TGE network. If you are a resident in one of these countries, you will receive all applicable tax benefits when you make your donation to CEU through your country's TGE partner foundation.

Donors in Italy may make donations exclusively for scholarships and bursaries through the Italian TGE partner foundation.

How to Give via TGE:

Make your contribution through the TGE foundation partner in your country of residence (see below) referencing Budapesti Kozep-Europai Egyetem Alapitvany / Central European University Budapest Foundation as the intended recipient.

The TGE foundation partner will process your donation and provide you with all applicable fiscal advantages, including a tax receipt. Your donation will be transferred to Budapesti Kozep-Europai Egyetem Alapitvany / Central European University Budapest Foundation for use by CEU.

CEU will acknowledge your gift, confirming receipt through the local TGE partner.

Given transaction and operational costs, CEU asks that you kindly utilize the TGE opportunity for donations of EUR/USD 1,000 or more.
