CEU appreciates the generosity of prominent investors and numerous private individuals, whom we see as our partners in growing a thriving institution. We show our appreciation in many ways, suited to the donor, the gift, and the nature of the support.
We recognize all donors supporting the university with a gift of 1,000 USD/EUR or more, for example by acknowledging them by name in our Annual Report. Donors who contribute 100,000 USD/EUR or more for scholarships receive updates on the awarded students, often from the students themselves, and the opportunity to meet the students in person when possible. Donors may name scholarships, professorships, classrooms or other university spaces, depending on the size of the gift and length of the endowment.
